In 2009 within the Reputation Days in Ukraine two events were held - Reputation Award in Ukraine – 2009 (November 26) and Reputation of Ukraine in the World – 2009 (November 27).
During the first event - Reputation Award in Ukraine – the awarding ceremony of the second specialized study “The Ukraine’s Most Reputable Companies 2009” was held, it was conducted by Reputation Capital Ukraine. For two years on end Ukrainian chocolate maker Roshen has the best reputation among the largest companies in Ukraine. Kyivstar, Nestle, Nemiroff, and Procter&Gamble Ukraine made the Top 5.
The survey “The Ukraine’s Most Reputable Companies 2009” was conducted according to the unique international methodology Rep Trak™ that is used by a world leader in the field of reputation management Reputation Institute in the global study of the level of consumers’ trust to the largest companies in the world - Global Reputation Pulse (The World's Most Reputable Companies).
Within the second part of the event the practicum on reputation risk management took place. The audience was greatly interested in the reports of the special guests of the event – Seamus Gillen, Managing Director of Reputation Institute UK, and Julia Graham, AIRMIC Chair.
The second event within the Reputation Days in Ukraine – 2009 - Reputation of Ukraine in the World – was devoted to the reputation management of Ukraine and its impact on the development of the Ukrainian business. The main event within Reputation of Ukraine in the World was the discussion of the first study of Ukraine’s reputation in the G8 countries, initiated by Reputation Capital and conducted within the international survey CountryRep – 2009. The results showed that the level of trust to Ukraine in the G8 countries is quite low and it doesn’t correspond to the perception of these countries by the Ukrainians. The finding was also that general public in Ukraine rated the reputation of its own country the lowest in Europe and the second lowest in the world.

It is described in the Memorandum “Of cooperation in improving image, reputation and branding of Ukraine”.
